Seneca
Lake is in Guernsey and Noble Counties. The lake
covers 3,550 acres of water and 47 miles of shoreline.

Seneca
Lake is located in eastern Ohio, mostly in Noble
County, with a small northern section in Guernsey
County. The dam is located 2 miles east of Senecaville
on State Route 313 and 12 miles southeast of Cambridge
via Interstate 77 and State Route 313. |

Fishing
Opportunities |
Seneca
Lake anglers can hook into the following species;
Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, White and Black Crappies,
Walleye, Channel Catfish, and Bullheads. The lake has
also been stocked with Muskellunge and White Bass with
moderate success. |
Boating
Information |
There
is a 180HP limit restriction on Seneca Lake. Two
boat ramps are located on the northwest side of the lake
off of State Route 313. The full service marina offers boat
rentals, and has a nearby restaurant. |
State
Management |
The
Division of Wildlife activities include stocking,
installing fish structures, monitoring fish populations,
creel studies, and water quality analysis. |
