Opportunities |
Lake
Vesuvius supports populations of Largemouth Bass,
Spotted Bass, Bluegill, White Crappie, and Redear Sunfish
reproduce naturally. Channel Catfish and Saugeye are
maintained through periodic stockings. |
Boating
Information |
There
is an electric motors only restriction on Lake
Vesuvius. A single boat ramp near the dam serves the
entire lake. A small fee is required. |
State
Management |
The
Division of Wildlife activities include monitoring fish
populations, stocking of channel catfish and saugeye,
construction and placement of fish attractors, and
physical and chemical water analysis. |
