Lake Snowden Lake Snowden is in Athens County. This small lake covers
131 acres of water and has 7.1 miles of shoreline.
Ohio Division of Wildlife District 4.
Location Lake Snowden is located in the southwest corner of
Athens County. It is southwest of the city of Athens, and
one mile northeast of Albany. The lake can be accessed
from Us Route 50.

Approximately 190 miles south of Cleveland.
Approximately 80 miles southeast of Columbus.
Approximately 145 miles east of Cincinnati.
Lake Snowden offers anglers Largemouth Bass, Bluegill,
Redear Sunfish, and Channel Catfish.
There is a 10HP limit restriction on Lake Snowden. A
primitive launch ramp is located off of State Route 50
on the south side of the lake.
The Division of Wildlife activities include stocking,
installing fish structures, monitoring fish populations,
creel studies, and water quality analysis.
