Guilford
Lake is located in Columbiana County on the
West Fork of Little Beaver Creek in Hanover Township.
It lies north of State Route 172, which joins with US
Route 30 near Canton and Lisbon. State Route 9 from
Salem or Hanoverton and joins State Route 172 at New
Garden, just 2 miles west from the lake. |

Fishing
Opportunities |
The
Division of Wildlife stocked Largemouth Bass, Bluegill,
Channel Catfish, and Northern Pike. Native species
include Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Perch, Pumpkinseed,
Brown Bullhead, Suckers, and Carp. |
Boating
Information |
There
is an improved ramp off of Hannah Drive on the
south side of the lake. There is another small boat launch
provided for campers. |

Management |
The
Division of Wildlife activities include monitoring fish
populations, stocking, construction of fish attractors, and
physical and chemical water analysis. |
